It looks like Ritchie has taken a bit of a cue from Zack Snyder, which I can’t say is a good thing. In keeping with their recent slew of childhood ruining movie tie-ins, Hasbro has decided to make a movie based on Battleship, and Peter Berg is going to direct. You sank my faith, Hollywood! THERE ARE NO WORDS!
Moving on to more ridiculous movies, Joe Carnahan (another favorite, Narc & Smokin’ Aces) is making an A-Team movie. As upset as I am about this, the first bit of casting news reveals a perfect choice with Bradley “Everywhere All of a Sudden” Cooper set to play Face.
If you thought Nic Cage hadn’t lost it already, listen to this! He is set to star in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and you can bet he will be rocking the mullet for the part of Balthazar Blake who is (get this) a sorcerer looking for an apprentice. Said apprentice will be played by Jay Baruchel, and they will be fighting evil in modern day Manhatten, but according to IMDB it isn’t a comedy. Hmm…

TGDMods is working on a new FPS called Hypertension which will be released for Windows, Linux, and (HUH!?) Dreamcast! Luckily, if you don’t have a Dreamcast, you can get your hands on a brand new one from Think Geek. No joke. Check out this video, just ignore the disclaimer on the beginning.
